²⁷ They were stationed around God’s house through the night, because that duty was assigned to them, and their duty was to open it every morning. ²⁸ Some of them were in charge of the vessels for the service. They counted them before and after each service. ²⁹ Some of them also were in charge of the furnishings and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as well as the fine flour, wine, oil, incense, and spices.
